Advising on general policies related to the quality/depth of collections,services, instruction program, and infrastructure, as well as on major new initiatives and assessment processes
Represent the views of the Library’s stakeholders on library and information services
Deliberate and advise on the direction and development of policies for library and information services to ensure the best possible support is provided
Recommend new collections and promote contributions to Institutional Knowledge for the dissemination and preservation of intellectual and institutional knowledge.
To act as a channel of information and communication and dialogue between the college library and its users
To consider and put forward the views of faculty members regarding books/journals selection, ordering process etc.
To consider and put forward the views of students and Research Scholars regarding their problems and solutions sought thereof.
To represent the grievances faced by the students and staffs in related to library usage.
To provide general directions to the library,
To review the functioning of the library with regards to its support to the academic programmes of the college.
To advise the management on matters of library policy relating to the development of library.
To promote the usage of library among the student community.
