1. The Department of Pharmacognosy has a distinctive role in the essential field of drug research and carries out studies on the physical, chemical, biochemical and biological properties of drugs and drug substances of natural origin
2. The Department of Pharmacognosy is completely dedicated to provide excellence in education and research in the disciplines of Pharmacognosy & natural products
3. Production of High yield Banana (Musa acuminata) plants by Plant tissue culture method. Regard this Biotech project team visited A.P. Horticulture research station, Kovur and Sri Sai Soma Biotech, Guntur
4. Production of high nutrient value contain Mushrooms (Agaricus bisporus)
5. Production of L Asparginase enzyme from Pectobacterium caratovorum
