Pharm.D or Doctor of Pharmacy is introduced in the Indian pharmaceutical education system by government of India & Pharmacy Council of India. Pharmacy is considered as the field that leads the community towards a healthy life. The primary role of a pharmacist is to make the patient feel comfortable about his/her health and provide counseling for the patient apart from dispensing medicine. Type of Course: A six year doctorate degree course divided into six Semesters. Out of which five years of study in college & hospital and one year of internship in various departments of hospital.

Eligibility for entering Pharm.D: Intermediate M.P.C or Bi.P.C Stream with 50% Marks for open category and 45% Marks for SC/ST Category or EAMCET Qualified.
